Three Tips to Maximize Your Time This Season
When I think of summer I usually think of relaxation but somewhere along the way lazy days by a pool or inside escaping the heat became days jam packed with weddings, barbecues, road trips, and general errand running. A low-key weekend at home has become mirage-like. When I get this busy there are a few things I rely on to help save time, because time is precious and every second counts. One of my favorite timesavers is eDeposit at the Credit Union. When I’m on the road or running around and a trip to a branch is less than ideal, I can deposit a check right from my cell phone. I just take a picture of the front and back of the endorsed check and submit. Easy, fast, and completely necessary in my current hectic world.
Outside of banking and business, here are a few other time-saving tips I use to get the most out of my days:
1. I waste very little time thinking about meals. I make my lunches for the week at once and refrigerate them. Grab it and go. The same idea applies to breakfast: I keep plenty of fruit stocked for a quick bite. For dinner, it’s a whole lot of leftovers.
2. I shop a lot online. These days, I only buy stuff when I need it. There’s not a whole lot of browsing at the mall. When I need a new shirt, I like to buy it online. It saves me a trip and time spent wandering around the store.
3. I make to-do-lists and prioritize. This helps me get a big picture of events I can/cannot attend and things that need to be done. It keeps me sane. I’ve found that organization is key to time management.
