8 New Year's Resolutions From Credit Union Employees
With 2016 just around the corner, it’s time for those dreaded New Year’s resolutions. We asked the staff at our Barrett Station Road branch what their financial resolutions were for the upcoming year and received some serious (and seriously hilarious) responses to the following question:
What is Your #1 Financial Resolution for 2016?
I will cut back on my Amazon shopping—just because I have free 2-day shipping, doesn't mean I need to take advantage of it 20 times a month!
-Samantha Thomas
I will TRY to stop spending so much money on office supplies. I need to learn that just because it’s sparkly does not mean it belongs on my desk.
-Natasa Sajic
This coming year, my biggest financial resolution is to stop paying bills all together…I mean, imagine how much more money I could have if I stopped paying bills. Amazing.
-Nick Eckl
My resolution is to spend MORE money on the things I want! No more disappointment or regret! Of course I will utilize all the great financial products the credit union offers to achieve my goal of spending more.
-Jonathan Jansson
I’m 18 years old and have a big girl job, so I will stop eating out at fast food places.
-Kristen Paulson
I will obtain a home equity loan through our wonderful credit union so I can remodel the basement…where I can ship the husband when he’s bothering me!
-Lindsay Ing
I should pay myself for every pound I lose. That way I get to keep my money and become healthier. Nothing else seems to work!
-Mary Moore
Stop my weekly trips to Ann Taylor and wear the thousands of outfits I already own. You just never know when you are asked to be a Top Model (over 50). If I stop the trips I could invest and open my own shop!
-Linda Rosso
