Get Your Home Holiday Ready

This can be especially important if you’re hosting a holiday party.  You’ll have a checklist that may include setting out the holiday decorations and creating the menu for lunch or dinner—don’t forget to add reviewing your homeowner’s insurance to the pre-planning.

Most homeowner’s insurance policies provide coverage for emergencies, such as fire, water damage, or other disasters.  Read more about finding the right homeowner’s insurance.

Plan Out Your Financial Spending for the Holidays

We mentioned in last month’s financial checklist that starting to purchase friends and family gifts for the holidays now can offer better discounts (more savings!) and provide less stress during the holiday season.  Planning out your gift spending now can also save you the stress of last-minute buying and you’ll be able to spend some time hunting for the most thoughtful gifts possible.
